Educating the Whole Child:
Mind, Body and Spirit.
Technology at Queen of Peace Catholic School centers on the belief that sensible technology—that is technology that advances learning goals—can enhance teaching, motivate learning, and prepare students for higher education and the workplace. Faculty and students use technology to develop meaningful 21st-century skills, such as communication, collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, and problem solving. Throughout our campus-wide wireless environment, the integration of technology is woven into the our curriculum.
Technology is utilized by all students at QOP. Students in grades 4 through 8 are issued one on one computers. Pre-K through grade 3 classes utilize tablets in centers and small groups.
Computer lab is offered throughout the week, with classes ranging from Pre- Kindergarten through Grade 8 for 45 minutes. Students are taught proper typing skills and computer literacy skills.
